HENPECKED HENRY

Didn't care that it was risky.
I was feelin' purty frisky,
so I stopped by Joe’s for whisky…
       that I did!
It was risky cuz she told me
that she never more would hold me;
and I knew at least she’d scold me
if I did.
At Joe’s, it’s always swingin’-
and there’ll be a lot a’singin’-
and t’night I feel like flingin’
         like a kid.
Like I did before I met her-
before she taught me better…
and like a sheep I let her-
          God forbid!!

But a lotta friends I’ll see there-
and there’ll be a lot a’ glee there;
and t’night I’m gonna be there
with them blokes.
It’s not as if I’d shaft her.
It’s just that I like laughter;
and at Joe’s, they rock the rafter
        with their jokes.
T’night I’m feelin’ plucky
and a thinking’ if I’m lucky
my ding dong danged ol’ ducky’s
gonna choke….
Gonna end up good and stinkin’.
Let her choke I am a thinkin’.
Gonna spend the night a drinkin’
with them folk.
FILL HER UP, BARTENDER!!!
